Whistler Farmer's Market
The Whistler Farmer's Market kicked off in style on Sunday June 27th for the season. If you haven't heard of or stopped by the Whistler Farmer's Market then you need to rearrange your Sunday (or Wednesday) plans and schedule a visit to the Market. The open air Whistler Farmer's Market features local produce from the Pemberton Valley and beyond, with tasty artisan foods, local artists, and entertainment.
This years Farmer's Markets opened for the season with a record number of 85 vendors. The usual local favourites were out providing tasty treats and crafts such as gelato, berries and Pemberton valley farm fresh produce and the famous kettle corn. Opening day featured a few new vendors including artisan marshmallows, gluten-free baking and Salt Spring Island Cheese.

Great Location, Nicest Staff!!
After reading several reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to give Crystal Lodge a try. From the get-go, the staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me set up lift tickets, dinner reservations, and ski rentals for my fiance. We had no trouble checking in, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was excellent. The centralized location of this hotel was perfect for hitting the slopes first thing in the morning, and walking around the village at night. Free wifi and valet for your skiis/snowboards. We never had to use our car (that was parked in their underground secure lot). I look forward to our next trip!
