Whistler Beer Festival
Whistler has long hosted an arrangement of exciting festivals and now it’s time for beer to have its chance to shout from a mountaintop. The inaugural Whistler Beer Festival is scheduled for this Saturday September 14, 2013 at Whistler Olympic Plaza. The festival will focus on celebrating the awesome talents of the Canadian and Pacific Northwest craft brewing industry with some international brews to boot.
The weather is forecast to be blue skies, sunny and 28 degrees, what better way to spend one of the last weekends of Summer sipping on beer surrounded by the spectacular views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains? The main event takes place right just a few minutes walk from the Crystal Lodge Hotel at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Tickets are $35 and includes 5 beer tokens and a $10 food voucher. To purchase tickets and for more specific event information please visit the Whistler Beer Festival Website.

Great Location, Nicest Staff!!
After reading several reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to give Crystal Lodge a try. From the get-go, the staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me set up lift tickets, dinner reservations, and ski rentals for my fiance. We had no trouble checking in, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was excellent. The centralized location of this hotel was perfect for hitting the slopes first thing in the morning, and walking around the village at night. Free wifi and valet for your skiis/snowboards. We never had to use our car (that was parked in their underground secure lot). I look forward to our next trip!
