The Whistler Film Festival is back for another year and has some star studded films to bring along with it. What sets The Core apart from other gyms is that they have a 5,500 square foot indoor climbing wall that caters to climbs of any ability.  The wall itself has beginner routes where you can learn the art of climbing, either with a friend (who knows what they are doing) or in a ...

Calling all Dogs!!! RUFF! RUFF! RUFF! Dogtober at the Crystal Lodge was Amazing. I got to see so many of my friends, new and old, as I strolled through the hotel like the VIP I am. On this stay I couldn’t help but notice how my blanket was quite comfortable. I really appreciated the fabric softner that made it nice for me to curl up after a long day of hiking and adventuring with my owner. My only complaint would be the treats at the Front Desk. I mean the biscuits might not be so bad if I couldn’t smell ...

At the Crystal Lodge & Suites we understand how much work and organization goes into planning conferences and events. When speaking with previous groups we got to wondering what factors are considered when planning a conference at the Crystal Lodge and Whistler. We discovered that our clients planning process went through several stages. The first stage seems to be a general conversation at an existing conference asking: “How about Whistler for next years conference?” “Great idea, why haven’t we had a ...
