Whistler Blackcomb Opening Weekend
The lifts and gondolas on Whistler mountain officially started turning for winter 2012-13 season on Saturday November 17th. Whistler village was a buzz of excitement and anticipation on the morning of Opening day. Eager skiers and snowboarders lined up from 10am on Friday morning to ensure they were the first ones to load Whistler gondola. As you would expect the crowds in the line up were stoked to say the least.
