Every SundayFire and Ice ShowThis legendary, free outdoor show is held every Sunday at the base of the mountains in Whistler Village. Prepare to be amazed by the live entertainment including ski and snowboard big air displays, fire spinners, live DJs and fireworks - it's guaranteed fun for the entire family. Following the show, head over to the Garibaldi Lift Co. (GLC) for the notorious Afterburn Party (Adults only after 8 PM)
February 9Family DayFamily Day is a mid winter holiday to celebrate the importance of families and family life. Spend the long weekend in Whistler with activities and events to entertain family members young and old.
February 14 & 15Ski and Snowboard SnowcrossU14 (9-13 years) Whistler Blackcomb Ski and Snowboard Cross events are recreational competitions open to participants 9-13 years. Amateur skiers and boarders will compete in different age and discipline divisions on the Nintendo Terrain Park Snowcross course.
February 15BC Cadet Biathlon ChampionshipsCadet biathlon develops power, endurance, strength, skill, precision and performance under pressure for cadets. The sport is a combination of cross-country skiing and marksmanship. After skiing fast and hard, biathletes must calm themselves to take accurate and controlled shots at targets 50 meters away. In a single race cadet competitors can ski up to 10 kilometers and shoot 20 targets with the clock always running. It's action-packed, physically demanding and extraordinary to watch
February 19Chinese New YearRing in the new year with a special Chinese New Years Fire and Ice show starting at 7:00 in Whistler Village Plaza
February 27 - February 28Peak to Valley Ski RaceThe Peak to Valley is a long standing and unique team race on Whistler Mountain. Teams of 4 (one member must be of the opposite sex and all must be 19 or over) will race a course which starts on the Whistler Saddle and finishes at Dusty's.
February 28 - March 1 Sigge's P’ayakentsut Cross Country Ski Event The Sigge's P’ayakentsut Cross Country Ski Event is the largest cross country event in BC and the family friendly event returns to Whistler Olympic Park this winter. The free technique race allows racers to skate 15 km, 30 km, and 50 km courses. This year the event will take place over two days with the main loppet on Saturday and the kids tournament and youth ski cross on Sunday.
