The 23nd Annual Whistler Film Festival lasts from November 29 – December 3, 2023.

This first-class event takes place over five days, showing over 100 films, including world premieres, features, documentaries and short films. Last year marked an unprecedented amount of Canadian entries into the festival. Whistler is quickly becoming a “Canadian Sundance-style destination” for Canadian cinema. There is so much talent in our country, and this is the place to get to watch it all. Over 50% of the movies shown will be Canadian content which is fantastic.

This year’s event will look slightly different from the typical 10,000 attendees. There will be an intimate in-person festival with local guests in addition to a virtual festival to celebrate the feature films and short films. Many of the typical in-person talks and events will be streamed for your viewing online.
