Easter Egg Hunts in Whistler
Easter Egg Hunts are a big deal at Easter so you need to make sure you plan ahead.
Here are a few suggestions on some hunts happening around the corridor.
There is always so much to do in Whistler on Easter with the whole family. Join in on the 8th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt that takes place at Myrtle Phillip Community School starting at 9:30am sharp. The smaller children will be hunting indoors while the older children 3+ will have an opportunity to hunt all around the playground and beyond. Don’t forget your basket and BBQ Bake Sale money and make sure you dress for the weather.
Who says you have to find Easter eggs wearing just shoes? The Nordic Easter Egg Hunt is happening in the Callaghan Valley. Tour around Alexander Falls on x-country skis or snowshoes to find all the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny. Starts at 10:00am and you can even bring your pooch!
For all of you that live in Squamish there are a number of activities happening. The Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch at the Sea to Sky Gondola takes place on Sunday starting at 10:00am. The Easter Egg hunt for the kids starts at 11:30am and is complimentary when you buy a lift ticket or have a seasons pass.
There will also be a Easter Dino Egg Hunt at Britannia Mine Museum from 11:00am – 12:00pm and then again at 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Britanniasaurus Rex will be hiding eggs around the museum, all you have to do is find one and bring it to the mineral table to identify what you found. Don’t miss out on this educational experience.
Pemberton also has a Community Easter Egg Hunt taking place at Pioneer Park for children 10 and under. The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs in the park starting at 1:00pm.
After the hunt head to one of the many Easter Brunches happening at restaurants all over the Sea to Sky Corridor. Make sure you call for a reservation first as most places sell out.
