Spring Dining in Whistler

It’s A Spring Thing Dining Special is on now through May 18, 2018.  The “Shoulder Season” as we call it around here definitely has its perks.  You get to get out and try some of the restaurants around town you don’t have an opportunity to during the peak season.  Most of the restaurants have 3, 4 or even 5 course specials going on during the week.

The relaxed modern restaurant is located just down the village stroll from the Crystal Lodge.  They serve Canadian comfort fare and have an elaborate cocktail selection.  They also have an upstairs lounge area for those nights you just want to have a drink and socialize.

Alta Bistro

$30 – 3 Course Menu – Sunday thru Thursday

Seasonal French cuisine is Alta Bistros specialty.  They also pride themselves on food that is locally and ethically sourced along with supporting local farmers, fisheries, and distilleries.  Their cool, industrial chic space offers a great vibes for locals and guests alike.

Araxi – $36

5 Course Menu – Monday thru Thursday

Araxi has been named Best Restaurant in Whistler for over ten years and is recognized as one of Canada’s Best Restaurants.  Their Pacific Northwest menu and swanky environment will leave you wanting more.  Recommended to call for a reservation – 604.932.4540

Hy’s Steakhouse

$49.95 – 4 Course Menu – Sunday thru Thursday

Hy’s is the place to be if you want prime grade steaks, cold martinis along with warm hospitality and an old rustic feel.  To check availability call 604.905.5555

Il Caminetto

$35 – 3 Course Festa di Primavera Menu – Sunday thru Thursday

The newly renovated Il Caminetto brings back fresh contemporary style dining to the mountains.  The restaurant showcases both local and Italian ingredients on a regionally inspired menu.  For reservations call 604.932.4442

Rim Rock

$49 – 3 Course Menu – Sunday thru Thursday

Rim Rock has been voted Best Restaurant in Whistler and for good reason.  This upscale seafood restaurant has an intimate vibe and large wine selection, located in Creekside, this experience is definitely worth the drive.  Call 604.932.5565 for reservations
