The Sea to Sky region is home to some of the most scenic golf courses in Canada. The best Whistler golf courses are right in our community, each one as unique as the next. If you are not sure which course to choose, or you have never played a round of golf in Whistler before, don’t worry because at the Crystal we provide Whistler golf hotel packages and our experts have listed below the must knows before planning your Whistler Canada golf holiday.

Nicklaus North Golf Course
With 18 holes spanning over 6961 yards, Jack Nicklaus designed the Nicklaus North Golf Course with intention of challenging golfers as well as showcasing the beautiful surroundings. Located a 5-minute drive from Crystal Lodge, Nicklaus North is also home to a full length driving range and a newly renovated restaurant called Table Nineteen where you can enjoy post-golf après.
Whistler Golf Course
The first golf course that Arnold Palmer designed in Canada. Whistler Golf Course boasts mountainous surroundings, signature design and uncompromised course conditions. A 2-minute walk from the lobby of the Crystal you will find Whistler Golf Course’s driving range and Nike pro shop and a further 2-minute walk will put you at the first hole and clubhouse – Palmers Gallery and Grill.
Big Sky Golf Course
Designed by Robert Cup, Big Sky is the longest of the championship courses in the Whistler golf community. Sitting at the foot of the stunning Mount Currie in Pemberton the course is located a short 25-minute drive north of Crystal Lodge. Enjoy après at Fescues Restaurant after playing 18 holes of golf and take in the amazing views that Pemberton has to offer.
Fairmont Chateau Golf Course
Play around creeks, ponds, and through ancient Douglas fir rainforest at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr, this course is built into the Coast Mountain Range. As you finish the 18th hole, you can relive all your amazing shots at the Chateau Clubhouse based at the end of the hole.

Local Knowledge Tips
Walk or Carts?
You can have a different experience on the same course when it comes to choosing to walk the course or use a cart. We recommend walking Nicklaus North and Whistler Golf Course as they are relatively flat courses. Fairmont and Big Sky, we highly recommend getting a cart as the Fairmont is a very mountainous course with lots of ups and downs, and Big Sky is the longest course of all 4 courses.
What to Wear?
Being high in the mountains means that the weather can be unpredictable. We recommend bringing clothing for all conditions as one day it might be a bluebird day full of sunshine and the next you may experience weather on the wetter side.
