Mark your calendars! From April 7 – 13, 2025, the Whistler World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF) returns to Whistler, BC, for an electrifying week of skiing, snowboarding, music, art, and nightlife. Known as the biggest end-of-season celebration in North America, WSSF brings together mountain culture enthusiasts for non-stop action both on and off the slopes. Whether you’re a passionate skier, a snowboarder, or simply looking for an unforgettable après experience, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

What to Expect at WSSF 2025
From sunrise to late-night parties, WSSF offers an action-packed schedule of events. Here’s what you can look forward to:
🎿 Skiing & Snowboarding
- Spring Skiing & Riding (April 7 – 13, 8:30 AM – 4 PM) – Enjoy prime spring conditions on Whistler Blackcomb, with longer days and softer snow perfect for shredding.
- New Ski & Snowboard Competitions – Expect thrilling freestyle and big-air events featuring some of the top athletes in the sport.
🎶 Outdoor Live Music Series
The Outdoor Live Music Series, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, takes over the Skullcandy Stage in Skier’s Plaza from April 10 – 13, delivering four days of high-energy performances from top Canadian artists. This FREE event is open to all, offering the perfect après-ski soundtrack.
🎤 Music Lineup:
April 10: Ruby Waters – A soulful and captivating indie artist known for her powerful storytelling.
April 11: Fort Knox Five (Live) & The Gaff – Bringing funky, bass-heavy beats and live turntable performances.
April 12: Swollen Members & Moka Only – Canadian hip-hop legends reunite for an unforgettable night.
April 13: Shred Kelly & Wassabi Collective – High-energy folk-rock and reggae-infused beats to close out the festival.

- 72-Hour Filmmaker Showdown (April 7, 8 – 10 PM, Whistler Conference Centre) 🎬
- Filmmakers have just 72 hours to create a 3–5 minute short film within a 100 km radius of Whistler. The most creative entry wins a $5,000 grand prize!
- Pro Photographer Showdown (April 8, 8 – 10 PM, Whistler Conference Centre) 📷
- A visual masterpiece featuring breathtaking images from top action sports photographers worldwide.
