Beer in the mountains just feels right. The Whistler Village Beer Festival returns September 16–20, 2026, bringing five days of craft beverages, brewery tastings, après parties, food, music, and mountain-town energy to the heart of Whistler Village.
Now in its 13th edition, WVBF has become one of Whistler’s favourite fall festival weekends. The celebration builds throughout the week with events around the Village before culminating in the Main Event at Whistler Olympic Plaza on Saturday, September 19. Expect craft beer, cider, canned cocktails, non-alcoholic options, food trucks, live music, lawn games, interactive activities, and a lively outdoor festival atmosphere surrounded by mountain views.

Whistler Village Beer Festival Main Event
The Main Event is the highlight of the week and one of the best ways to experience Whistler’s fall festival energy. Taking place outdoors at Whistler Olympic Plaza, the event brings together more than 40 craft beverage makers pouring over 80 varieties of beer, cider, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Guests can wander between vendors, discover new local and regional favourites, enjoy food truck bites, listen to live music, and take in the mountain views from one of Whistler’s most scenic outdoor gathering spaces.

Longhorn Saloon Oktoberfest
After the Main Event, keep the celebration going at Longhorn Saloon Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 19. Running from 5 PM to 1 AM, this official afterparty brings Oktoberfest energy to the heart of Whistler Village with German-style beers, music, dancing, and a lively beer hall atmosphere.
Lederhosen and dirndls are encouraged, and with Crystal Lodge located right on the Village Stroll, you can enjoy the night without worrying about driving back to your hotel.
