Driving Directions

Discover the breathtaking drive from Vancouver to Whistler. The recently upgraded Sea to Sky highway features stunning views of the coastal mountain ranges and the beautiful Howe Sound making the drive part of your Whistler experience.

From Vancouver International Airport to Whistler

Approximately 2 hours

1. Follow signs to Granville Street E/City Centre
2. After about 15 minutes driving, you will cross the Granville Street bridge. Keep to the right and take the fork to the right following signs for Highway 99 North & Whistler.
3. This route will lead you through downtown Vancouver.
4. Turn left onto W Georgia St and continue to follow signs to Highway 99/1 West to Whistler/Horseshoe Bay for approximately 10 minutes.
5. As you continue to follow signs for Highway 99 north and Whistler you will be taken through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate Bridge.
6. Take Highway 99 North towards Squamish which will take you approximately 60 minutes.
7. Continue on Highway 99 north from Squamish to Whistler, which is another 45 minutes. As this is a mountain highway please check current highway weather conditions on line.
8. Once you reach Whistler, turn right at the 5th set of lights into Village Gate Blvd.
9. Turn right at the next set of lights and immediately right again onto Whistler Way.
10. Follow this road around and take your first left onto Village Green
11. The Crystal Lodge will be directly in front of you. Please feel free to park in front of our doors while you check in or leave your car with Valet.

From Seattle to Whistler

Approximate 5 hours

1. Follow signs north to Vancouver on the I5.
2. Take the Truck Crossing. Once through the border, follow 176th Street all the way. Do NOT turn left at the traffic lights pointing you to Highway 99 and Vancouver, as this road will take you through the traffic of downtown Vancouver!
3. After 5+ miles, you will see directions to Highway 1. Go west to Vancouver. Stay west on Highway 1, it will bypass Vancouver with directions to the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal.
4. Highway 1 eventually turns into Highway 99 going north to Squamish and Whistler.
5. Once you reach Whistler, turn right at the 5th set of lights into Village Gate Blvd.
6. Turn right at the next set of lights and immediately right again onto Whistler Way.
7. Follow this road around and take your first left onto Village Green
8. The Crystal Lodge will be directly in front of you. Please feel free to park in front of our doors while you check in or leave your car with Valet.
