August 1-2Bulls-Eye Canadian National BBQ ChampionshipsFrom local legends to world champions, the BBQ Championships pit the best of the best against each other at Dusty's Bar & BBQ in Whistler Creekside. Come see the pros in action, enjoy family entertainment, sample some of the best BBQ you will ever eat and enjoy free music throughout the weekend by Ruckus Deluxe, Guitar Doug, The Hairfarmers, FOMO, The Matinee and Whole Lotta LED. The BBQ competitions include the 12th Annual Backyard Burger Championship, the CASI Canadian International Chili Championship, Budweiser King of the Grill, Pork Butt, Ravenswood Cork & Pork, Beef Brisket, Chicken, Ribs and award ceremonies on both Saturday and Sunday
August 8 - 10Squamish Valley Music FestivalThe Squamish Valley Music Festival returns with an amazing lineup.  Headlining this event is Bruno Mars, Arcade Fire and Eminem.
Every SundayWhistler Farmer's MarketThe Whistler Farmers Markets are held in the beautiful Upper Village Market stroll and feature local produce from the Pemberton Valley and beyond. Wander through the open air markets and enjoy tasty artisan foods, local artists, musicians and face painting. Lots of outdoor fun with activities for families and children. Sunday Markets are held from 11 AM to 4 PM, Wednesday Markets from 3 PM to 7 PM
August 8 - 17Crankworx WhistlerCrankworx Whistler has become the authoritative freeride mountain bike festival. A supercharged magnet for the world’s best riders and the definitive domestication of dirt in the service of epic endurance, supreme flow, monster air and gravity-fuelled mountain biking. August 17Slow Food Cycle (Pemberton)Sea to Sky's signature agritourism event, Slow Food Cycle Sunday, in Pemberton, BC, blows the fast-food drive-through away. A pedal-powered trip through the natural buffet that is Pemberton Meadows farmland, allows you to meet local growers and sample produce fresh from the field.
August 23     5 PeaksTrail Running SeriesRunning over rocks, roots, tree stumps, and logs, up ski hills, hiking trails, through puddles, mud, snow and much more. These courses take people off road and into the hills. The Whistler race will be held in the upper alpine of Blackcomb Mountain. Navigate through some steep climbs, sharp descents and craggy wilderness trails. And through it all, enjoy the tremendous views!
