Our team understands that you may be experiencing concern about what to expect when traveling again due to COVID-19.  We believe that mountain travel helps guests connect with nature, revitalize their sense of adventure, and create unforgettable experiences with family and friends.  The Crystal believes in creating Awesome Whistler Experiences for all of our guests and at our core is the safety and security of our loyal guests.

Following the guidance from Health Canada and the Resort Municipality of Whistler we have changed some of our services to maintain a safe environment for you so you can travel with confidence. Here are some highlights of what to expect when you next stay with us:

Face mask wearing is no longer mandatory in public spaces.

Hand Sanitizer dispensers are available in the hotel lobby and various other common areas.

High Touchpoint areas are disinfected frequently including but not limited to: front desk and lobby surfaces, common area doors and door handles, ATMs, elevator buttons, interior and exterior stair and walkway handrails, guestroom doors, and all seating areas.

Public washrooms are cleaned every 2 hours.  Paper towel is provided as an option to all bathrooms as well as Dyson hand dryers.  Foot door openers are provided on Public Washroom doors.

A Registration card is required to be completed. Guests are requested to place their ID and credit card face up on the desk, during check-in.

All room keys are sanitized regularly.

We encourage guests to communicate with Guest Services via text, phone or email, prior to arrival, to organize activities, restaurant reservations, or any special items.

Contactless check-out is available upon departure.

All guestrooms contain individual circuit heating and air-conditioning units.

Vaccuum’s are equipped with HEPA filters.

Amenity Kits are available via Guest Services, containing clean towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, sheets, etc.

Outdoor lounge chairs and hard surfaces will be disinfected regularly.

Hand sanitizer dispensers are available in the pool area.

Equipment is disinfected regularly.

Keep it intimate at The Crystal.  Our Emerald room can comfortably host a maximum of 50 people.

Valet Parking is currently available at $35 per vehicle per night, plus tax

Bike Valet service is available in the spring, summer, and fall.

Ski Valet service is available in the winter.

Storage room frequently disinfected.

The Crystal has communicated to each employee that they are not to work if they are ill.

Masks are supplied to employees and to be worn as needed by department.

Hand Sanitizer and cleaning solution is provided to all employees.

COVID-19 related training and procedures has been provided to all employees.

Safety signage and protocols is posted in employee areas to help enforce good hygiene and social distance.

The Canada-US border is open to American Citizens, and residents of the USA.

The Canadian International Border has been open to International guests by air travel since September 7th, 2021.
