Wide roads, challenging climbs, and incredible mountain views make road cycling in Whistler a memorable way to explore the Sea to Sky.
The Sea to Sky Highway was upgraded for the 2010 Winter Olympics, creating a smoother ride through one of British Columbia’s most scenic corridors. One of Whistler’s biggest road cycling events is the RBC GranFondo Whistler, a popular September ride that brings cyclists from Vancouver to Whistler along the Sea to Sky Highway. Riders can choose from several distance options, including the classic 122 km Gran Fondo route.
