Canada Day in Whistler is back for 2026, bringing a full stretch of mountain-town energy, cultural reflection, live music, Village entertainment, and outdoor adventure from July 1 to 5, 2026.
Set in the heart of Whistler Village, this year’s celebrations include a lively non-motorized parade, storytelling, street performances, interactive Village activations, and a free outdoor concert at Whistler Olympic Plaza featuring Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Steven Page.

Canada Day in Whistler is set to bring a full day of free, family-friendly programming throughout the Village. Guests can look forward to:

Spotlight Event: Steven Page Live at Whistler Olympic Plaza
This year’s free Canada Day concert features Steven Page, Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee and one of the country’s most recognizable voices.
The evening performance will take place at Whistler Olympic Plaza, with DJ Foxy Moron opening the show before Steven Page takes the stage with the Steven Page Trio and String Quartet.
With mountain views, summer air, and live music in the heart of the Village, it is the kind of Whistler night that feels easy to love.

Experience Indigenous Culture in Whistler
For visitors looking to connect more deeply with Whistler’s history and culture, Canada Day weekend is a meaningful time to visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre.
The SLCC shares the living cultures of the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation through art, guided tours, storytelling, exhibits, and cultural demonstrations. It is one of the best places in Whistler to learn more about the Nations whose traditional territories we are grateful to be located on.
You can also explore Indigenous and Canadian art at the Audain Art Museum, or learn more about Whistler’s local history at the Whistler Museum.
