The vibe
Ski bums and storytellers sharing chairs and red carpets. Up to 100 films across features and shorts, a packed Content Summit with keynotes and panels, and that easy Whistler mix of creativity and community. WFF has been named one of MovieMaker Magazine’s “50 film festivals worth the entry fee” multiple times for a reason.
Where and when
December 3 to 7, 2025 across Whistler Village. Major party nights are steps from Crystal Lodge.
• Opening Night Party: Longhorn Saloon & Grill — Wednesday, December 3 at 8:00 PM

Why go
Premieres with buzz, Mountain Culture crowd favorites, Oscar hopefuls, and Q and A sessions that run long because nobody wants to leave. The Content Summit lines up keynotes, panels, workshops, one to ones, and roundtables so creators and dealmakers can actually meet and move projects forward.
First timer tips
Walk the Village and build your day around morning laps, afternoon screenings, and night events. Book tickets early for hot titles. Wear good winter footwear and bring a warm layer for patio chats. The Fairmont venues are a short stroll from the Village Stroll. Keep business cards handy if you are here to network.
