Celebrate Canadian pride in one of the country’s most stunning settings during Whistler’s Canada Day Celebrations on Tuesday, July 1. From morning to night, Whistler Village comes alive with engaging events, cultural storytelling, local performances, and family-friendly activities. Highlights include a lively, non-motorized parade along the Village Stroll, thought-provoking programming that honours Whistler’s shared Indigenous territory, and fun activations for all ages.

The evening culminates at Whistler Olympic Plaza with a free concert featuring JUNO Award-winning headliner Bahamas, known for his heartfelt, witty songwriting and global acclaim. Opening the night is local favourite DJ SOUL CLUB, spinning beats starting at 6:30 PM, with Bahamas taking the stage at 7:30 PM.

Also enjoy free admission to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, where guests can explore the rich heritage of the L̓il̓wat7úl and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh peoples, including the powerful Declaration of the Lillooet Tribes exhibit.

Whether you’re joining the parade, enjoying live music in the mountains, or simply soaking in the community spirit, Canada Day in Whistler offers something meaningful and memorable for everyone.
