Race Experience

Your journey begins with a scenic ride up the Blackcomb Gondola, leading you to high-alpine trails filled with wildflower meadows, pristine lakes, and rugged boulder fields. Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or a first-time participant, there’s a distance for everyone:

  • Kid’s Run – 1 km
  • Kid’s Run – 3 km
  • Sport – 7 km
  • Enduro – 11 km
  • Grit – 14 km

Note: Race distances and routes are subject to change based on trail conditions.

8:00 AM – Onsite Packet Pick-Up Begins (Upper Village)
9:00 AM – Racers & Spectators Begin Uploading on the Gondola

Race Details & Important Information

  • Gondola Access: All racers and spectators must take the Blackcomb Gondola to the start. Gondola tickets are sold separately unless included in a series pass.
  • Hiker Division: For those who prefer to enjoy the course at a walking pace, a hiker division is available with pace leaders ensuring a relaxed, non-competitive experience.
  • Awards & Prizes: Top three finishers in each gender and age category will receive awards. All finishers in the 3K, Sport, Enduro, and Grit distances will receive a finisher swag item.
  • Custom Medals: Sustainably sourced wooden medals made in Canada are available for pre-purchase.
  • Cup-Free Event: Bring your own reusable cup or hydration system, as no cups will be provided at aid stations.
  • Spectators Welcome: Best viewing is at the start/finish area.
  • No Dogs, Headphones, Strollers, or Poles Allowed on Course for safety reasons.
