GranFondo will be back in Whistler in 2023

For those unfamiliar with GranFondo, loosely translated from Italian, GranFondo means “big ride“. That is one way to describe the 122 km ride from downtown Vancouver to Whistler on the world-renowned Sea to Sky Highway. The 7,000 competitors are spoiled with a vehicle-free lane to enjoy the breathtaking views of this spectacular route.

The race finish area at Whistler Olympic Plaza will be a hive of activity so make sure you head down to cheer on the competitors as they cross the finish line. Celebration Plaza will also be the Family Fundo Fun ride home for kids and many other post-race celebrations. The Fundo is free for kids under 12; remember to bring your bike and helmet.
