Whistler X Tri returns to Lost Lake Park for a weekend of off-road triathlon racing in one of Canada’s most iconic mountain destinations. Set in the heart of Whistler, this race combines a lake swim, world-class singletrack mountain biking, and scenic trail running through some of the area’s most beautiful terrain.

Formerly known as XTERRA Whistler, Whistler X Tri continues the same iconic swim, mountain bike, and trail run experience on the same course, in the same place, with the same local team. The event is no longer part of the XTERRA World Tour, but it remains a bucket-list race for athletes who love rugged trails, fresh mountain air, and fall colours in Whistler.

Race Experience

The swim takes place in Lost Lake, one of Whistler’s most scenic and accessible lakes. From there, athletes head onto Lost Lake’s mountain bike trails for a true off-road ride before finishing with a trail run through forested paths, rolling terrain, and classic Whistler scenery.

Both transition areas are located at the Lost Lake Events area, making it easy for friends and family to watch the action from one central race hub.
