Ice Skating

When it comes to winter and skating, Whistler has it covered.

No matter the weather there will always be an option to lace up those skates and cut up the ice. Ice Skating is a true Canadian experience and one of the best winter pastimes for anyone at any age.

Whistler Olympic Plaza

In the winter time, the Olympic Plaza transforms into a winter wonderland with an area to sled as well as a skating paradise. Grab the entire family and skate right in the heart of Whistler Village amongst beautiful mountain views; star light skies and the Olympic Rings which is the same place the Olympians received their gold medals.   Don’t worry if you didn’t bring your skates, you are able to rent some there.

Santa also shows up every year to say hi to the kids, skating is one of his favorite pastimes so he makes sure to get in a relaxing skate before delivering presents a few days later.
