hello

Explore the Top of the World

When you come to Whistler you want to make sure you take in all the sights including the ones 7,000 feet up.

See bears in the wild foraging for berries as their cubs wrestle in the long grass. Try to spot a marmot singing the song of its people and you will understand how Whistler got its name. Make sure you experience all of the natural beauty of the mountains firsthand by heading up the gondolas and trying a new hike with some sightseeing from the top of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

During the summer months you can head up and check out the snow walls.  Take the Whistler Gondola up to the Roundhouse and hike over to the Peak Chair.  Head up the Peak Chair and walk down Pika’s Traverse to see these giant snow walls.  It is an easy hike but give yourself 60 to 90 minutes round trip and don’t forget to wear the proper hiking shoes and take water.

Ask us to organize your sightseeing pass prior to your arrival so you will be ready to explore the mountain tops as soon as you arrive.  Simply give our friendly Guest Services Team a call at 1.800.667.3363  or email us at [email protected]
