The Whistler Tasting Tours is a great way to experience the diverse dining scene in Whistler while getting a tour of the town at the same time! There are three different tours to choose from:
Finer Things Dining Tour
Our personal favorite, The Finer Things Dining Tour, meets conveniently in the lobby of Crystal Lodge. Once you have been given an itinerary of what to expect on your culinary adventure you will walk just a few steps to the Fire Rock Lounge. From there you will head to the Bearfoot Bistro for an amuse-bouche plate. Next, you will venture to Hy’s Steakhouse for a blind wine tasting paired with Hy’s specialty item. Quattro’s follows for a delicious seasonal main course. To finish the night off with a delicious dessert, you will head to Roger’s Chocolates for a sweet treat and your tour comes full circle at the Fire Rock Lounge for an Artesian cheese plate.
The Finer Things Dining Tour starts at 4:45 pm until about 9:00 pm and is $159/ person.
Hidden Gems Dinner Tour
Perfect for those looking to explore off the beaten path and discover some of Whistler’s local favourite restaurants. Meet your guide in the evening at the Whistler Public Library. From here you will stop at your first Whistler local spot, Elements, where you will be treated to one of the best fresh sheet menus in town. A short walk across the way to Hunter Gather is where you will be served locally made brisket, pulled pork or veggie sliders with an assortment of craft beers. Make sure to leave room for the third experience, Stonesedge Kitchen. Located next to Crystal Lodge, here you will have 3 fantastic choices from short ribs, BC Kuterra Salmon or a delicious Chickpea Tofu. A stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is necessary for any local tour and to finish the night off with Caramba’s seasonal dessert (either warm apple tart, tiramisu or cheesecake) will help you kick back and reflect on the truly Whistler local culinary experience.
The Hidden Gems Dinner Tour starts at 4:45 pm until about 9:00 pm and is $134/ person.
Whistler Lunch Tour
Looking for an afternoon of flavor and fun? There’s no better way to spend it than with a multi-course lunch at Whistler’s hot spots. This tour runs at a minimum of 6 people, however, if it is not met then you have the option of the Self Guided Lunch Tour which has a brochure to guide you to exactly where you want to go. Starting off light, the Firerock will greet you with a beautiful Garden Salad and Red Wine. Walking past the Crystal and towards Stonesedge Kitchen, an assortment of cheese, meats, crostini, truffle honey, pickles, ale mustard and house chutney awaits. After grazing on a delicious charcuterie board, Elements will welcome you with their Rainbow Bowl. To finish the mains, just a few steps away, Hunter Gather will provide you with locally sourced brisket, pulled pork or veggie sliders. For those with a sweet tooth, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will be the last stop on your afternoon adventure where you can enjoy homemade ice cream, chocolates as well as a large selection of unique sweets.
The Whistler Lunch Tour starts at 12:30 pm until about 4:00 pm and is $99/ person.
