Melting snow and consistent warm weather can only mean one thing, spring is here and golf season is just around the corner here in Whistler.
For all of you golf nuts, you probably already know that Pemberton Meadows, Furry Creek and Squamish Valley Golf Course opened a few weeks ago and that this was the opening weekend for Big Sky Golf and CC which is ranked among one of the top courses in Canada. The other big players who have just as impressive accolades are preparing to open in early May; those include Whistler Golf Course and Fairmont Chateau Whistler on May 9th and not far behind, Nicklaus North Golf Course on May 15th,
We here at the Crystal have paired with a few of the courses to get you out on the links at a price that is sure to make any golfer smile. Our Sea to Sky Golf Getaway includes a round at Nicklaus North and Furry Creek, which is located on your way up the Sea to Sky Highway. The package includes two rounds and a night at the Crystal starting at just $199 per person. If you are craving more golf then the Sea to Sky Golf Trail was made for you. This includes a round at Nicklaus North, Furry Creek and Big Sky which is just 25 minutes north of Whistler in the small town of Pemberton. The package also includes two nights at the Crystal Lodge and it starts at just $339 per person.
Golfing in Whistler is spectacular, the views are stunning and the sheer fact that one (Fairmont Chateau) is chiseled out of the side of a mountain is truly amazing. Whistler has everything a golfer could need from bent grass fairways and tees, to elevations and spectacular views to bears “playing thru”. It is not uncommon to have to wait for a bear to clear the tee deck before you can tee it up, it really does make it worth the drive!!!
Favorite Spot in Whistler
We go to Whistler a ton as a family to bike and have stayed at a ton of spots in the village and the Crystal is definitely our favorite. Can't beat the location and by far they have the best staff and service in town. Going above and beyond to make our family and dog feel welcomed. The one bedroom suites with vaulted ceilings feel very private and spacious. Also during noisy times when the village is going crazy late night, the rooms are extremely quiet which is a must for us.
